Primary Responsibilities at the Chamber:

Manages the full range of activities that includes coordination of work; organizational structure and procedures; motivation of volunteers; income and expenditures; maintenance of membership, employment, training and supervision of staff; interpretation of policy; maintenance of facility; and strategic planning. Guides the development, implementation and evaluation of the Chamber’s Program of Work, including all policies adopted by the Board of Directors, and assists the Chairman of the Board in preparation of statements of the Chamber’s position on public issues. Monitors community and local government activities for appropriate involvement of the Chamber and its resources. Represents the Chamber in meetings of local, state and national organizations. Strives to develop a better public understanding of the purpose and function of the organization. Oversees activities of the Economic Development Council and Industrial Development Board and coordinates with the staff member appointed to work with Cleveland Associated Industries.
