CLEVELAND, Tenn. (Jan. 5, 2009)—Twenty-four area businesses and two affiliates, ranging from contractors and collectors and restaurants and realtors to pharmacies and fire protection, became new members of the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce in recent months.
“Chamber membership provides local business owners many opportunities to better themselves and promote their businesses,” Cheryl Dunson, vice president of marketing for Santek Environmental, says. “The Chamber Coffees are excellent networking events, while the ongoing seminars and educational courses empower and equip business owners to reach their full potential.” Dunson, who also chairs the Chamber’s Membership Development division, continued, “The Chamber’s monthly newsletter presents the latest in economic news and legislative events that can impact my business. And the Chamber’s strong relationships with the community’s school systems provide my company, and other companies, an opportunity to give back to our community’s youth and educators. These new members can benefit from opportunities like this and from the networking opportunities that help us all to grow our businesses.” The Chamber’s board of directors approves new members at their regular monthly meetings. New members and their business classifications approved at monthly meetings of the Chamber’s board of directors from September through December include the following: Amedisys Home of Cleveland, Home Health Services; Anchor Trust Inc., Real Estate, Commercial; Beaty Fertilizer Inc., Fertilizer Sales/Distribution; Blaine Construction, Contractors—Commercial/Industrial/Residential; Jerry Bohannon, Individual; Bryant Sign Company, Sign Companies; Cleveland Therapeutic Massage Clinic, Massage Therapy & Skin Care; deRoos Family Chiropractic, Chiropractors; Double D Piping & Fire Protection LLC, Fire Sprinkler Systems; and Double Shot Coffee Kiosk LLC, Restaurants.Other new members for 2008 include Electric Motor Sales & Supply Inc., Electrical Supplies; EMJ Corporation, Contractors—Commercial/Industrial/Residential; Enhanced Living Systems LLC, Video/Audio Sales & Installation; Medical Claims & Billing Service, Medical Billing; Miza Foods Inc dba Little Caesars, Restaurants; Morris Vineyard & Tennessee Mountain View Winery LLC, Winery; Personal Care Choices, Home Health Services; and Peterson Group of Cleveland Inc dba Beef O’Brady’s (The), Restaurants.Also joining the Chamber last fall are these businesses: Ramada Limited, Lodging; Relics LLC, Antiques & Collectibles; Sequoyah Limited LLC, Contractors—Commercial/Industrial/Residential; Southern Smokehouse, Restaurants; Travel Inn, Lodging; and Walgreens, Pharmacies.
