CLEVELAND, Tenn. (Aug. 21, 2008)—Thirty-nine area businesses and two affiliates, ranging from a dance studio and distributors to real estate agencies and restaurants to “geeks” and graphic designers, became new members of the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce in recent months. “Membership in the Chamber provides local business owners with a multitude of opportunities to better themselves and promote their businesses,” Cheryl Dunson, vice president of marketing for Santek Environmental, says. “The Chamber Coffees are excellent networking events, while the ongoing seminars and educational courses empower and equip business owners to reach their full potential.” Dunson, who also chairs the Chamber’s Membership Development division for 2008, continued, “As a Chamber member, I enjoy receiving the monthly newsletter and learning about the latest economic and legislative events that can impact my business. And the Chamber’s strong relationships with the community’s school systems provide my company with an opportunity to give back to our community’s youth and educators. These new members can benefit from opportunities like this and from the networking opportunities that help us all to grow our businesses.” The Chamber’s board of directors approves new members at their regular monthly meetings. Other new members for 2008 include Chase Staffing Services, Employment Agencies & Services; Mar-Von Pest Control Co. LLC, Exterminators; One Moment Media, Graphic Arts & Design; People for Care & Learning, Churches & Ministries; and Tennessee Valley Bone & Joint, Physicians. Also joining the Chamber this year are these businesses: Black Bear Cove, Lodging; Courtesy Finance of TN LLC, Loans—Consumer/Mortgage; Go Now Girls, Distributors; Henderson, Hutcherson & McCullough PLLC, Accountants/CPAs; and Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Insurance Agencies & Services.
