CLEVELAND, Tenn. (May 12, 2009)—How is your company responding to the economic climate? Media messages are bleak, but marketing messages can still help your business succeed in tough times. The Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce will present “Pain & Passion . . . When Features and Benefits Aren’t Enough” as its May Top Tools session to help local businesses boost sales. The workshop will take place Wednesday, May 20, at 12:15 p.m. in the Chamber’s conference center. During the session, presenter Brent Templeton will open your mind to new avenues of breaking through the marketplace in today’s economy. Templeton, who thinks of himself as more of a hands-on educator than a speaker, will actually put participants to work developing the tools needed to penetrate the market and increase your revenues. “This particular workshop was presented to two state conferences and a regional conference where participants gave both the content and the presenter rave reviews,” Bernadette Douglas, executive vice president, noted. “Brent’s workshops for the Chamber always provide practical information that participants can put to use immediately.” Templeton, president of Templeton Design Group, has provided visual communications and built sustainable marketplace brand recognition for regional, national and international clients for over 22 years. Some of his clients, past and present, include BASF, Olan Mills and the Chamber’s Convention & Visitors Bureau. His work has appeared in Southern Living, Better Homes & Gardens, Transport Topics and many other national publications. Although he works with many large corporations, he enjoys best working with small and mid-sized businesses. Cost is $15 for Chamber members and $25 for future members and includes lunch. Members may attend at no cost if they do not want lunch. Registration is required for room setup and materials. To register, call the Chamber office at 472-6587. -30- |
