“Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee” Competition
CLEVELAND, TN – Four Cleveland/Bradley County manufacturers have been nominated in the 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee competition, and the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce is encouraging the community to help them advance by voting daily through July 29.
The annual competition, hosted by the Tennessee Manufacturers Association, celebrates the innovation and craftsmanship of Tennessee’s manufacturing industry while showcasing the incredible products made across the Volunteer State. The top 16 products receiving the most votes during the first round will advance to the next stage of competition.
The four Chamber member manufacturers representing Cleveland and Bradley County are:
- Precision Pulley and Idler (PPI) – Pro Duty Pulley
- WACKER Polysilicon – Hyperpure Polysilicon
- Whirlpool Corp – KitchenAid® 9 Series Wall Oven with Intelligent Cooking Camera
- Wind River Built – The Chattanooga Lookouts Team Store
Manufacturing remains the backbone of Bradley County’s economy, accounting for 16.7% of the local workforce and making it the county’s largest employment sector. The region is home to one of Tennessee’s most diverse manufacturing communities, producing everything from advanced chemicals and household appliances to food products and ammunition.
“The products being recognized in this competition represent the innovation, precision, and excellence that define manufacturing in Bradley County,” said Danielle Seals, Director of Workforce Development for the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce. “Our manufacturers create products used around the world while providing rewarding, high-quality careers right here at home. We encourage everyone to support these outstanding companies by voting each day and helping showcase the strength of Tennessee manufacturing.”
According to the Tennessee Manufacturers Association, the Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee competition is designed to highlight the state’s vibrant manufacturing industry while raising awareness of the exciting career opportunities available in manufacturing. The industry employs approximately one in every eight Tennesseans and contributes more than $70 billion annually to the state’s economy.
