- Decal/Plaque—Your member door decal and plaque identify you as a supporter of economic development and progress in Cleveland/Bradley County.
- Directory—The Resource is an annual membership directory and buyers guide published by the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce. It features current members of the Chamber of Commerce alphabetically and by classification, along with opportunities for advertising. The directory also includes an outline of member benefits, contact information for the Chamber staff, the Board of Directors and a convenient listing of Numbers to Know.
- Discounts—A variety of discounts from members, offered only to other members.
- Industrial/Demographic Data—We provide site location information, market data, demographics and cost-of-living figures.
- Internet Listings—As the global marketplace continues to expand through increased use of the Internet, Chamber members are assured they are represented through the Chamber’s website. Members in tier 2 and up receive a free listing with links to email and websites provided at no charge. Special offers, additional category listing and advertising are available for a low charge.
- Mailing Labels—Members only are provided the most up-to-date business labels for your marketing needs. (Minimal fee for tier 1 members)
- Newsletter—225 Keith, our monthly newsletter, keeps you informed of business news and Chamber activities.
- Networking Events—Networking events are held monthly, quarterly and annually to provide our members with the opportunity to meet other business owners and expand their network of contacts.
- Referrals—As the front door to our community, we receive hundreds of calls from people looking for particular goods or services. When a particular good or service is requested, we refer only Chamber members, sending you potential customers.
- Ribbon Cuttings & Grand Openings—Staff members provide promotional assistance to your business during ribbon cuttings, grand openings or expansions.

As a Chamber member and a vital part of our business community, you are represented every day when the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce responds to inquiries about our region and the services it offers.

Through the Chamber’s Economic Development Council and the Bradley/Cleveland Industrial Development Board, the Chamber recruits new industries and assists our existing local industries with expansion and workforce needs.

Through our marketing programs and responses to inquiries, the Chamber’s Tourism Development Division continually promotes the Ocoee Region as a preferred destination for relocation, tourist activities, sporting events, recreation, shopping, healthcare services and meetings.

Regularly scheduled Chamber gatherings offer the opportunity to meet and get to know other business owners and managers in the community, often resulting in fresh ideas, new supply sources and new sales leads.

Through the Chamber’s website, you can submit information regarding meetings, arts and leisure activities, and other functions with the click of a mouse. Likewise, residents and visitors can access this information by clicking the “One Community, One Calendar” icon and identify what they can see or do at any given time in our community.

By using social media tools—Through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn the Chamber provides an active resource of content that all business people and members of the community can turn to for information.
What The Chamber Does
Networking
- The Chamber provides various opportunities for networking: Connect Coffees, Connect After-Hours, Committees, Programs, and other events.
- The Chamber’s online member/business directory averaged about 218,000 page hits January – mid September 2021.
- Social media allows us to maintain a business presence in the digital marketplace @CLEchamber.
- An average of 30 relocation requests per month afford business exposure through listings and advertising in Chamber publications and on our website
Education
- Educational seminars and workshops offer small business vital information for operating an effective and profitable business.
- Partnerships are formed between 51 businesses and industries and each of the 27 schools in the Cleveland City and Bradley County School systems, along with Chamber-member private schools.
- Arts in our schools’ efforts benefit from the annual “Chair-ries Jubilee” auction, which has raised more than $620,000 since its inception in 1999.
Economic Development
- Bradley County’s largest employer is manufacturing, with the industry base garnering 30 percent of the employment in the area. Of the 95 counties in Tennessee, Cleveland/Bradley County ranks sixth in manufacturing.
- The Chamber’s Economic Development Division’s promotion of our region helped foster $332.6 million in new commercial building permits in 2023 and 2024.
- Bradley County’s manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, and wholesale trade sectors represent 27% of total employment. Of the 95 counties in Tennessee, Bradley County ranks sixth in manufacturing employment, providing 17.2% of the total employment.
Tourism

- Citizens in Bradley County pay about $447 per household less in taxes due to the Chamber’s tourism promotion efforts.
- 30,000 copies of the 2020 Visitors Guide gave broad visibility to member advertisers and business listings relative to tourism (e.g., attractions, accommodations, restaurants).
- Visitors spent more than $184.6 million in Bradley County in 2023, a 3.4 percent increase over the previous year.
