As a Chamber member and a vital part of our business community, you are represented every day when the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce responds to inquiries about our region and the services it offers.

Through our marketing programs and responses to inquiries, the Chamber’s Tourism Development Division continually promotes the Ocoee Region as a preferred destination for relocation, tourist activities, sporting events, recreation, shopping, healthcare services and meetings.

Regularly scheduled Chamber gatherings offer the opportunity to meet and get to know other business owners and managers in the community, often resulting in fresh ideas, new supply sources and new sales leads.

Through the Chamber’s website, you can submit information regarding meetings, arts and leisure activities, and other functions with the click of a mouse. Likewise, residents and visitors can access this information by clicking the “One Community, One Calendar” icon and identify what they can see or do at any given time in our community.

By using social media tools—Through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn the Chamber provides an active resource of content that all business people and members of the community can turn to for information.

What The Chamber Does

Networking
  • The Chamber provides: Membership Coffees, Women’s Council programs, Food for Thought lunches, and other events.
  • The Chamber’s online member/business directory averaged about 218,000 page hits January – mid September 2021.
  • Social media allows us to maintain a business presence in the digital marketplace @CLEchamber.
  • An average of 30 relocation requests per month afford business exposure through listings and advertising in Chamber publications and on our website
Education
  • Bradley County is a center for quality education, offering exceptional opportunities for learners of all ages. The area is served by two excellent public school systems, Bradley County Schools and Cleveland City Schools, along with various private schools, all dedicated to providing innovative programs and fostering student success. 
  • The Chamber brokers partnerships with our local schools and business community, providing programs such as BEST Partners, job shadowing, and mock interviews to ensure we have a developing workforce suited to meet local needs. 
  • The Chamber also supports the arts in the schools by providing grants and other promotions through the Arts in Education & Business Council.
Economic Development
  • Bradley County boasts over 200 manufacturers within the community. The manufacturing workforce represents 17.2% of the total workforce, which produces a variety of diverse products that are used worldwide.
  • The Chamber’s economic development efforts have assisted in achieving various accolades such as being named #6 Best Places to Work in US in Manufacturing and #1 in Job’s Created in Tennessee.
  • In addition to recruitment of new and diverse industry, the Chamber also partners with existing industry to assist with their expansions and continued production to ensure the local economy remains strong and vibrant.  
Tourism

  • Citizens in Bradley County pay about $304 per household less in taxes due to the Chamber’s tourism promotion efforts.
  • 30,000 copies of the 2020 Visitors Guide gave broad visibility to member advertisers and business listings relative to tourism (e.g., attractions, accommodations, restaurants).
  • Visitors spent more than $152.9 million in Bradley County in 2019, ranking us 14th in Tennessee in terms of tourism dollars spent locally.
